Course Description

Well-managed labour migration makes the process safe and orderly for workers as well as beneficial to the countries of destination and origin. So, how can we ensure well-managed labour migration? What are some of the features of an effective policy for labour migration? Which stakeholders should be consulted during the policymaking process? In what ways can non-government actors promote ethical recruitment?

Find answers to these questions and more in EMM2.0 e-course on Labour Migration. This self-paced e-learning looks at the different types of labour migration based on duration, skills levels and other admission criteria. It also explores the different policy approaches to regulate migrant workers’ access to the national labour market. The interlinkages between labour migration and other policy sectors are also explored in the context of migration management.
